Mother School
Founded 25 years ago in Phoenix, Arizona, High-Tech Institute is the original name of the Anthem Education Group, now the mother school of more than 20 campuses representing six different schools, colleges and a university – Anthem College, Anthem Institute, Allied College, The Bryman School of Arizona, Morrison University and High-Tech Institute.
The High-Tech Institute in Milwaukee is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), a specialized, national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. It is also accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Diplomas and Associate degrees.
Our Surgical Technologist program in Milwaukee and Minneapolis is similarly accredited by ABHES, while the Medical Assistant program in Milwaukee and Sacramento have been granted the same distinction by ABHES.
Institutional and specialized accreditation assure the public that we follow the minimum quality standards and parameters of excellence set by the U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting bodies. They provide the minimum quality standards and benchmarks for all schools in the country to follow.
Philosophy
Our philosophy is grounded on our willingness to understand the needs of our students and to monitor the demands of industries seeking new skills for their continued operation. Our operations and schedules are designed around those of our students. We offer day and evening classes, provide financial assistance to those who qualify, offer graduate placement assistance, and other student services.
We’ve moved from a purely campus-based college to an online educational provider as a convenient, flexible and more economical option to learn new skills and even earn college and postgraduate degrees.
